Matías Mier, flyer of Independiente Santa Fe, issued a statement in which he confirmed the rumors that his relationship with the Soledad journalist Melissa Martínez was terminated.
The Uruguayan former Junior footballer from Barranquilla, Independiente Medellín and La Equidad; he broke his silence and acknowledged that his marriage was over.

Then, the left-handed midfielder acknowledged some fault committed: “In my humanity, I admit to having made wrong decisions and having caused pain to an exceptional woman who was with me unconditionally and gave me all her love,” he said in his official statement.
Immediately, he apologized to his ex-partner: “I apologize, mainly to her, and to everyone who, without my intention, has been affected by my actions,” he wrote.
“I wish the best for Melissa for being a great woman,” concluded the 32-year-old Uruguayan athlete.
