Migration: 190 thousand people left the country

According to data from the National Directorate of Migration, between September 16 and September 22, 189,160 people left Uruguay: 149,960 Uruguayans, 24,307 Argentines, 9,157 Brazilians and 932 Chileans.

The main exit point is Salto with 45,506 people, followed by Fray Bentos with 45,196, Paysandú with 34,544, Colonia with 27,758, Carrasco International Airport with 15,364 and the port of Montevideo with 7,845 people.

Regarding income, 118,124 people entered our country in that period of time: 77,040 Uruguayans, 20,880 Argentines, 11,447 Brazilians and 1,257 Chileans.

The main entry point is Colonia with 23,803 people, followed by Paysandú with 22,660, Salto with 22,067, Fray Bentos with 20,533, Carrasco International Airport with 13,315 and the port of Montevideo with 6,043 people.
