The Banxico Museum celebrates its first anniversary with a new exhibition

Because we are celebrating the anniversary, only this Saturday the museum will have extended hours from 11:00 in the morning to 7:00 at night.

In the new exhibition you will find a series of photographs, old documents and coins that tell the story of the bank. You can also find an area with bags similar to those that protected money in the past and take a picture.

There will also be special guests such as José Gordon and Luis Cabrera, who were responsible for creating an immersive experience in the museum’s vault.

Space is limited and there is a contest for those who wish to participate.

The Banco de México Museum opens a new temporary exhibition in which it recreates how coins were kept in the past.

On Sunday, September 25 at 12:00 and 2:00 p.m. there will be a sound intervention with the artist Antonio Isaac called Oraculum.

Where can I get the tickets?

The museum is located on Av. May 5 #2 in the Historic Center of Mexico City. The nearest metro is Bellas Artes. Tickets are reserved on the museobancodemexico.mx page or at the box office next to the building.

If you cannot attend the museum this weekend, you can follow the conferences on the Museum’s social networks: MuseoBancodeMéxico on Instagram and Facebook.
