The Paraguayan National Team in the Mixed Pairs final became World Champion by defeating the Croatian national team.
The Guarani consecration took place at the Mixed Youth World Cup in Rome, Italy, where the couple was present thanks to the support of the National Sports Secretariat (SND).
Sports Minister Diego Galeano Harrison expressed “Congratulations to the Paraguayan National Team that became champion in the Mixed Double Final at the Bocha World Cup in Rome, Italy. In the Mixed Pairs final, they defeated Croatia and allowed the Guarani cry to resound loudly in Italy”.
Likewise, he pointed out that from the SND “we gave all our support to the boccia team to participate in this World Cup in Italy. We bet heavily on sport, here and wherever athletes need us”.
He congratulated the Paraguayan National Team from his social networks and an exciting video of the moment of the consecration of the Guarani duo with his delegation could also be seen.
The National Sports Secretariat supported the National Bowling Team to pay for tickets and travel expenses, allowing Guaraní athletes to attend international events.
