Havana Cuba. — The political prisoner Ramón Pérez Conde, known as Moncho Pérez, is on a hunger and thirst strike in the Combinado del Este maximum security prison to claim the 12 years of deprivation of liberty to which he was sentenced last June and demanding white clothing that identifies him as a politician.
The opponent remains naked in a punishment cell since the count at six in the morning on Wednesday, after he was raped by the Operational Guard Officer (OGO) identified as Edgar.
According to three inmates who confirmed Moncho Pérez’s condition to this medium, the aforementioned officer told the activist from the Cuban Civic Embassy movement to take off his white clothes and, given his denial, sprayed him in the eyes.

The activist was charged with the crime of enemy propaganda for making “two live broadcasts on Facebook in which he encouraged and incited citizens to take to the streets to speak out against the State.”

In the latest statements by Moncho Pérez to CubaNethe asked everyone who is involved in the cause of Cuba’s freedom to “get strong because there is no dialogue with the dictatorship and one should never give in.”
His mother, Ana Maria Count Alemanwho kept demanding the release of his son until the end of his life, died at the beginning of July at the age of 82, while the opponent was on a hunger strike in Valle Grande.
