Urban and Home Cleaning Authority AAUD, carries out a cleaning operation in a site known as El Biombo or Calle Negra in San Joaquín, Pedregal corregimiento. While the MOP develops work to adapt the site with a base layer.
Pedro Castillo, General Administrator of the AAUD, stated that the work is carried out in conjunction with the MOP and the team of Deputy Cenobia Vargas Grajales.
He added that after the cleaning and sanitation of the place, the tinaqueras will be relocated to maintain order.
The General Manager added that the community must be vigilant to prevent people who are not from the neighborhood from coming to deposit waste in these tanks.
For her part, Cenobia Vargas Grajales thanked the AAUD and called on residents to avoid throwing garbage outside the tinaqueras.
In the area, there is a meeting point used by older adults for recreational activities.
The AAUD attends to the request of the deputy Cenobia Vargas, since at the point there is an incorrect use of the tinaqueras, because the locals throw garbage outside the devices.
The 2.5 cubic yard tanks that were near the recreation center were relocated for better trash disposal.
The work team was supervised by Ing. Yanelis Reyes, director of MOP Panama Center; Ing. Alvaro Díaz, Director of Technical Services and Alonso Filós, Director of Operations of the AAUD.
The day also included harvesting, grass cutting, sweeping and fumigation.
