In the Peracal checkpoint, San Antonio del Táchira, a woman was arrested who was transporting 78 finger cots of cocaine, according to reports.
The woman is identified as Yoarlis María Pinto Pérez, who came as a passenger in a public transport unit which was headed to Ciudad Bolívar. Ella yoarlis was checked by the military, who detected that she was wearing a girdle attached to her body with 78 finger cots of cocaine that released one kilo 30 grams.
Once arrested, she was handed over to the Public Ministry where they opened a procedure for illicit drug trafficking.

Those captured are registered as Jhonny Alejandro Rendón Correa and Jeraldine González Restrepo, who transported the drug in 11 panels hidden in a sack of rice. Correa and Restrepo were traveling as passers-by, coming from Colombia. They will be prosecuted in Venezuela for illicit drug trafficking, the informant explained.
