The Association of Colombians in Venezuela believes that the border must have a principle of reciprocity so that Venezuela and Colombia become an extension of the commercial area for the benefit of both peoples.
To do this, they propose to consider small Colombian producers for the exchange of products in the Venezuelan territory, despite the fact that they do not qualify in the large production scale.
He also specified that the mafias that continue to operate on both borders with human trafficking and irregular migration must be addressed.
Tanus said that these proposals have already been presented to Presidents Gustavo Petro and Nicolás Maduro, as part of the preparation of the Association of Colombians in Venezuela for the official reopening of the land and air border between the two countries on September 26.
