A boy of approximately 6 years old, and of Venezuelan nationality, died in the Tres Bocas area, province of Darién at the hands of a group of armed criminals who were dedicated to robbing migrants who used this route.
According to the National Border Service (Senafront), a group of migrants was assaulted by foreigners in combination with indigenous Panamanians and as a result of the assault two people were injured (a man and a woman) and the infant died.

The authorities explained that they maintain operations to find those responsible for the death of the minor.
