Public servants of the National Telephone Company of Venezuela (Cantv) and representatives of the Public Ministry (MP) held a meeting at the Company’s headquarters in Caracas, in order to continue strengthening joint actions to combat irregular collection of telecommunications services.
In this sense, the Company’s Research Manager, Manuel Briceño, highlighted that this meeting allowed for closer inter-institutional ties to protect the rights of users “joint work is of great value to contribute and continue improving telecommunications services”.
He explained that the meetings with the MP will be held frequently in the rest of this year “these meetings are constant, we have reached many agreements. We are the guarantors of the assets of Cantv and the State, so we must clean up procedures so that irregular events that affect our image do not continue to occur.
The Fourth National Prosecutor, Ogly Yépez, stressed that this activity allowed the sharing of information on the modus operandi that are developed in the field of telecommunications crimes, for which he added that cooperation between the institutions is transcendental to advance in this joint action, refers a Cantv press release.
