This Tuesday, the Draft Agreement was unanimously approved in commemoration of the 247th Anniversary of the Birth of General José Félix Ribas.
From the protocol chamber of the National Assembly the hero of the Battle of La Victoria was remembered on February 12, 1814, the deputies assured that the General managed to stop the royalist forces of José Tomás Boves, with inexperienced troops, formed mainly by young students and seminarians.
Between the points of the Agreement It was established to promote the historical knowledge of Ribas and reinforce his legacy among young Venezuelans, as well as celebrate his birthday every year.
The birthday of José Félix Ribas was this Monday, September 19. Ribas is considered one of the most important heroes in the history of Venezuela.
