Human Rights defenders in Venezuela handed over to the head of the Ombudsman’s Office, Alfred Ruiz, a document calling for the immediate release of the diplomat alex saabkidnapped in the US, and the rest of the crew of the Emtrasur plane that still remains in Argentina, refers to a press release from the Venezuelan entity.
At the headquarters of the Ombudsman’s Office, in Caracas, the members of the National Union of Women of Venezuela (UnaMujer), of the National Assembly (AN)of Venezuelan Consortium of Aeronautical Industries and Air Services (Conviasa)and from Committee for the Release of Alex Saab, so that the rights of the seven crew members (three Venezuelans and four Iranians) of Emtrasur are respected, who have not yet been able to recover their freedom, despite the fact that there are no judicial elements for their arrest.

Alfredo Ruiz indicated that these actions against Venezuelan citizens are carried out “with the aim of destroying international humanitarian law, international law between nations, respect for diplomatic immunity, the sovereignty of peoples, as well as increasing the siege of the nation.”
He assured that his office adds to this clamor “and we will send this request to all the instances that are necessary for these coercive measures to cease, and we call on the United Nations Organization and the entire world to show solidarity with Venezuela.”
The member of UnaMujer, Anahi Arismendi, He explained that “we join all the actions that can be carried out at the international level so that the workers of Emtrasur and Alex Saab are released expeditiously, since they are measures that come to affect the families of these people, and that they seek to intimidate the nations that support Venezuela against unilateral coercive measures.”

On September 13, Chamber III of the Federal Court of Appeals of La Plata authorized 12 of the 19 crew members of the Emtrasur plane, a subsidiary of Conviasa, to leave Argentina.
