Visipol asked the police to tolerate the recordings

For the Ministry of the Interior, Justice and Peace, there is no problem that citizens record the procedures carried out by police or military officials in the sales tax.

“The problem is not the video, it is the bad procedure of the officials, the actions of the police,” said General Elio Estrada Paredes, deputy minister of the Integrated Police System (Visipol), according to witnesses.

Estrada participated yesterday in a meeting with the directors of the state and municipal police forces and coordinators of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB).

Said event was chaired by the Minister of the Interior, Remigio Ceballos Ichaso, who stressed that “these meetings allow the Revolution to be promoted in the justice administration system,” as published on his twitter account.

The meeting took place at the headquarters of the National Experimental University of Security from where Estrada touched on the point related to the recording of videos by citizens when a check is being carried out at mobile or fixed points, as established by a resolution joint agreement signed by the Ministers of the Interior, Remigio Ceballos, and Defense, Vladimir Padrino López.

In this regard, the Vice Minister said that this rule must be assumed with professionalism and remove “the adrenaline” at the time of being recorded by citizens.

“We must evaluate the videos, the attitude of the official; we are trained for that”, recommended Estrada.

“We are guarantors of Human Rights, let’s not fall into excesses, let’s be educated, tolerant and professional,” stressed Estrada, who is also director of the PNB.

The Vice Minister also reflected on the actions of some police chiefs and their links with criminal organizations.

This, as a result of the arrest in Valles del Tuy (Miranda) of Patricia Rodríguez (director of PoliYare) and Osmer Israel González Suárez (chief of operations of Poli-Cúa), who are allegedly related to the criminal organization founded by Deiber González, alias Carlos Capa. “They are traitors,” he commented.
