[Video] With machete in hand, a woman confronted a motorcyclist in the middle of the street

In a video that circulated on social networks, it is observed a woman getting out of a taxi with a machete in hand, to confront a motorcyclist.

The events occurred in Primero de Mayo neighborhood south of Cali where in the middle of an argument between the taxi driver and a motorcyclistthe woman takes out a machete to confront her opponent who makes his vehicle fall onto the road.

The audiovisual created controversy due to the attitude that the public service driver took and due to the fact that she carried a sharp weapon in her vehicle.

What is known about this violent attack is a statement by the spokesperson for the Taxi Driver Network indicating that “unfortunately a video is circulating on social networks where you see a female trying to attack a motorcyclist with a machete. We are waiting to collect the version of both the taxi driver and the motorcyclist”

For her part, Amalia Velásquez Guzmán recorded a video to explain what happened, first she said that everything happened while she was providing a service, As explained by the motorcyclist and the barbecue, it seemed that they were going to steal the cell phone from their passengerand she reacted that way.

Velásquez assures that while she was defending the woman who was inside her taxi, other taxi drivers arrived in the area and one of the men, seeing himself cornered, ran away and the other decided to make the video and pretend to be a victim.

“Thank God the Police arrived, we took him to the inspection and it turns out that the man, who is playing innocent, has a record for theft,” said the taxi driver.
