Colplay and Dua Lipa, British artists of international stature, shone with their show last weekend in the city of Bogotá, concerts attended by hundreds of thousands of people to witness two of the most desired “live” shows by the music lovers around the world.
The first show that moved the masses in the cold capital was that of the English band led by singer Chris Martin, whose presentation was split in two, on September 16 and 17 on the same stage: the Nemesio Camacho Stadium. ‘El Campin’.

Fans of the rock band met expectations and filled the stage to bursting. Nearly 44,000 people bought their tickets in advance to see one of the best groups in this musical genre.
Songs like “Viva la vida”, “The Scientist”, “Yellow”, they were heard at the top of their lungs in the stadium and there was even time for Chris Martin to perform on the piano “Drunk”song by Colombian J Balvin and Puerto Rican ‘Bad Bunny’.
The other great weekend closing show in the city of Bogotá was in charge of the London artist of Kosovar Albanian origin, Dua Lipa.
The best songs of the young artist of 27 years, such as «Levitating», «One Kiss», «New Rules», «Brak My Herat»; They sounded on the night of Sunday, September 18, at Parque Salitre Mágico. In another total success in regards to the singer’s show and ticket sales.
criticism of logistics
However, many of those attending the event left unsatisfied due to difficulties in the logistics of the concert. For many, the organization of the event was not the best since from early hours there were some inconveniences due to the long lines to enter the Park where the British artist did her show.
Another complaint filed by fans of Dua Lipa had to do with the number of seats available: “There was not even one chair available inside,” said a viewer.
A not minor detail that those attending the concert evidenced, was due to the sound of the stage. Some couldn’t hear the pop star’s songs well and were angry.
Another aspect that caught the attention of those who attended the “live” show is that people who did not pay a ticket climbed trees around the park to enjoy the concert.
Last but not least, many questioned the fact that they put Dua Lipa to sing in Salitre Mágico and not on a larger stage in accordance with the demands of the public of a world-class artist.
then to @Harry Styles Are they also going to put him to sing in El Salitre?
That people pay the bill so they don’t see anything is the important thing, gentlemen @OcesaColombia?
They didn’t learn from the disaster of previous concerts (including the one with Dua Lipa) just to save a Silver.

Dua Lipa has a beautiful voice and a tremendous show, but many of us did not enjoy it because that sound WAS A FAILURE, they did not know how to put the screens and the only thing we ended up seeing was cell phones.
I had very high expectations but it was a fail because of @OcesaColombia— Aliss Cifuentes (@AlissCifuentes_) September 19, 2022

How did DuaLipa’s concert look better from the divider of 63? Bad management by Ocesa, who told you that Salitre Mágico was a place for events? Not even they could see the concert.
What awaits those who will go to see Harry Styles. I hope they improve. pic.twitter.com/LTeNZYrp98– Diego Duarte ? (@_Dieguitoduarte) September 19, 2022
People have complained since the concert venue was announced in December and even so they decided to put more people in it ?
9 MONTHS to adapt the space (which is yours) correctly and have a good logistics plan and even yesterday they were still in assembly.

Salitre Magico is NOT a place to hold concerts and MUCH LESS the parking lot, Salitre Magico is an amusement park, not a venue worthy of an international artist such as Dua Lipa or Harry Styles, what a shame, Ocesa moment ✨
