After the arrival of the Chancellor of VenezuelaCarlos Faría, to the city of New York, in the United States, to participate in the 77th period of sessions of the Assembly General of the United Nations Organization (UN), participates this Monday in various meetings.
In this sense, Foreign Minister Faría reported through his Twitter account that he had a meeting with the head of the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs of the United Nations (UN), #OCHA Martin Griffiths. At the meeting they addressed various topics of interest, among others, the Development Agenda.
In addition, Foreign Minister Faría reported that, giving continuity to the Bolivarian Diplomacy, he participated in a pleasant meeting with the Foreign Minister of Serbia, Nikola Selakovic.
“We share the idea of creating a multipolar world, without hegemonies, where social justice prevails for our peoples,” he said on Twitter.
Faría also met with the Bolivian Foreign Minister, Rogelio Mayta, “we reaffirm our commitment to friendship and bilateral cooperation with a view to the realization of the III Mixed Commission Venezuela – Bolivia, to continue strengthening relations in various areas,” he said.
Varied agenda at the UN
Early this Monday, the Venezuelan Foreign Minister arrived in New York City to participate in the 77th session of the UN Assembly.
Foreign Minister Faría will fulfill an agenda that includes important meetings and work meetings, including the summit on Education and Sustainable Development of the UN 2030 Agenda.
