The Paysandú Police found this Sunday the body of a woman among rubble in a dump located in Guichón (Paysandú). The primary information indicated that it could be Nelida Rosina Tornarelli, a 33-year-old woman who had been missing since August 13. And so it was confirmed this Monday morning by the young woman’s family.
A ring and a tattoo indicate that the body of a woman found this Sunday would belong to Rosina Tonarelli, according to sources in the case, although the autopsy remains to wait to finish corroborating the information. This Sunday, in addition, the Police arrested a man for the case. This person knew Tonarelli, the sources added.
The woman, domiciled in the city of Guichón, was reported missing after she was last seen in the Almirón hot springs. Since then there have been several actions carried out by the Prosecutor’s Office and the Police, who began the search that included the use of dogs and drones in various areas identified as possible places, but until today it had been unsuccessful.
