Superintendence of Insurance receives proposal for training in finance

Superintendencia de Seguros recibe propuesta para formación en finanzas

The Superintendent of Insurance, Josefa Castillo Rodriguezreceived a proposal from the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD)for the realization of the “Master in Insurance and Bonds”as a way to strengthen the program developed by the institution through the Insurance Training School (ESFOSIS).

This was announced by the official during the visit made by the vice-dean of the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences of the UASD, professor Maribel Lorenzo and Hendrick Reyesprofessor of Administration at the UASD.

Lorenzo expressed that the proposal arose from the training work being carried out by the Superintendence of Insurance, through the Insurance Training School (ESFOSIS).

He assured that, with the proposed mastery, the technicians of the Insurance Superintendence and the insurance sector would have higher levels of skills in their profiles. While Castillo said that he will submit the proposal to the Technical Commission of the Superintendency to be evaluated in its curriculum, as well as the interest in reaching an inter-institutional agreement.
