They prosecute two women and a man for infanticide against their children

Two women and a man were arrested for their alleged participation in the murder of two of their children, reported the Cicpc when recounting the two procedures.

In Santa Teresa del Tuy (Miranda), the scientific police agents captured the parents of a newborn registered as Luisa Del Valle López (41) and Anthony José Villegas Gómez (38).

This couple neglected their little son, going over medical indications, a situation that caused his death derived from “severe cerebral edema and abused child syndrome by omission,” the Cicpc reported.

The little boy was taken by his parents to the “Doctor Osio” hospital in the Valles del Tuy with no vital signs.

And in Maracay (Aragua), Cicpc officials arrested Marbelys Carolina Castillo Malavé (26), who caused the death of her two-month-old baby. The woman was drinking liquor with her partner and her sister. She already drunk, she lay down to nurse the child, but she fell asleep and suffocated him.

The next day, they observe the rigid infant, so they take her to the sector’s outpatient clinic, where she is admitted without vital signs.

The next day they realized what had happened and took the child and his vital signs to a health center.

The detainees were handed over to the Public Ministry.
