President Alberto Fernández left for the United States to participate for the first time in person at the General Assembly of the United Nations (UN) that is being held in New York City, where he will focus on the consequences of the pandemic, the war in Ukraine and also plans to meet with the head of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Kristalina Georgieva, according to official sources.
The official delegation, led by the president and Foreign Minister Santiago Cafiero, left after 10:18 p.m. from Ezeiza airport on Aerolineas Argentinas flight AR 1090.
