Elections 2022: who are the Punta Hermosa candidates and what do they propose?

Punta Hermosa It is one of the most popular districts in the south of Lima and has more than 23,000 inhabitants. Its citizens will seek to choose their next authorities in the Municipal and Regional Elections 2022which will take place on Sunday October 2so in this note we present the proposals of the candidates.

This is a report on the candidates to the municipality of Punta Hermosa and the key points of its proposals in the areas of citizen security, public health, education and more, based on the platform of the National Elections Jury (JNE).

Federico Guillermo Abraham Kajatt Kajatt – Alliance for Progress

He is 34 years old, was born in San Isidro and lives in Punta Hermosa. He studied Law at the University of San Martín de Porres and worked in the Municipalities of Lima and Punta Hermosa as a lawyer and executive, respectively.

What are Federico Kajatt’s proposals?

Combat citizen insecurity by training serenazgo personnelimprove the video surveillance system, reinforce security strategies with the other districts in the south of Lima, the National Police of Peru, the Public Ministry and organized civil society.
Build a health center of level I-4 that attends 24 hours a day so that the neighbors do not have to move to other districts to receive treatment. Improve the existing post with an expansion of the facilities and carry out vaccination campaigns against COVID-19, among other diseases.

Reduce animal abuse to 95% with vaccination campaigns, deworming, sterilization and medical consultations for pets; address complaints of animal abuse and correctly apply Law 30407, Animal Protection and Welfare Law.
Promote recycling, recover green areas and improve the quality of information provided to tourists. Not only promote the beach circuit, but also other attractions, such as Pampa Pacta.

Carlos Guillermo Fernández Otero – Advance Country Social Integration Party

He is 68 years old, was born in Miraflores and currently lives in Punta Hermosa. He studied Law at the Universidad Nacional Federico Villareal and works as a lawyer from 1982 to the present. In addition, he was mayor of Punta Hermosa three times from 2007 to 2018 with the National Unity and Popular Christian Party (PPC) parties.

Carlos Fernández did not record sentences on the website of the National Elections Jury (JNE); however, he is under investigation for corruption offenses. He resigned from the PPC in 2021.

What are Carlos Fernández’s proposals?

Provide an efficient security service to the citizen with the “Punta Hermosa Segura” program, in which it would seek to improve patrolling and organize traffic in the district in the summer season.
Build a modern health center that attends 24 hours to provide a quality service to the neighbor of Punta Hermosa.
Improve the quality of education with adequate infrastructure and adequate equipment to increase learning.
Promote tourism with quality products and services. Create a tax culture in the neighbor to increase the level of collection.
Encourage the participation of neighbors in cultural activitiessports and social to promote individual, comprehensive and community development.
Install sewage system to improve the quality of life of the neighbor. Improve cleaning service and control indiscriminate construction to keep the district orderly.

Luis Felipe Moreno Torres – Popular Force

He is 63 years old, was born in Piura and currently lives in Punta Hermosa. She did not register university studies on the website of the National Elections Jury (JNE); however, she studied Public Relations at Cesaen. He worked as a brigadier non-commissioned officer in the National Police of Peru (PNP) from 1984 to 2019. He did not record sentences.

What are Luis Moreno’s proposals?

Combat citizen insecurity with a restructuring of the security plan. Strengthen video surveillance cameras with the participation of neighbors and implement a drone surveillance system in areas with the highest crime record.
Spread the culture of preventive health Through information campaigns, promote the construction of the Mental Health Center with its own premises and disseminate the operation of the Basic Primary Care Unit (UBAP) for EsSalud insured in the district.
Prioritize the total eradication of family violence and abuse through strategic alliances with public and private schools, the National Police of Peru (PNP) and the Ministry of Health (Minsa).
Support the use of new technological tools to improve the district educational system, promote sports activities in schools and promote the House of Youth and Culture project.

He is 31 years old, was born and lives in Punta Hermosa. He studied Business Administration and worked as an official in the Municipality of Punta Hermosa from 2010 to 2022. He did not record sentences. He resigned from the Popular Christian Party (PPC) in 2021.

What are Max Ampuero’s proposals?

Train and implement tools to combat citizen insecurity. Create a Rapid Intervention Group (GIR), relocate video surveillance cameras at strategic points, implement public lighting in desolate areas and implement security booths.
Improve infrastructure and quality of care in the health sector; support soup kitchens, glass of milk programs, older adults; and promote job opportunities for single mothers in the district.
support education through procedures that allow maintaining an educational level in optimal conditions. Organize reading workshops for children and adults, promote inter-school competitions for the development of intellectual skills and promote sports with sports competitions.
Create an employment office to increase jobs. Strengthen local tourism with a tourism development plan that will also create jobs.

Richard Manuel Pereira Núñez – Podemos Peru

He is 45 years old, was born in Arequipa and lives in Punta Hermosa. He studied law and worked as a manager in private companies. He did not record sentences. He resigned from the political parties Partido Democrático Somos Perú and Avanza País-Partido de Integración Social in 2018 and 2021, respectively.

What are Richard Pereira’s proposals?

Rocío Pazos Arnillas – Popular Renewal

He is 43 years old, was born in Bellavista and lives in Punta Hermosa. She studied Bilingual Secretarial at the British Academy and worked as a district councilor in the Municipality of Punta Hermosa and as an executive in private companies. She was part of the Popular Christian Party (PPC) from 2019 to 2022. She did not record sentences.

What are the proposals of Rocío Pazos?

Increase the budget for citizen security in order to implement more surveillance posts and increase the number of serenazgo personnel to reduce the crime rate in the district.
Implement the municipal pharmacy with modern equipmentsupply it with medicines at a reasonable price, offer health campaigns to neighbors and achieve greater coverage in the health service.
Provide free educational reinforcement classes in Mathematics, Sciences and Letters for high school students and implement the construction of new infrastructure in schools that require renovation.
Promote jobs with the implementation of the “Emprende Joven” program to increase the EAP in the district. Periodically promote job fairs and employability workshops for the development of technical and personal skills.
Continue with the asphalting of tracks and construction of sidewalks and boardwalks as part of the “Punta Hermosa building by 2026” program. Recover the Cultural Center of Punta Hermosa in the place of the old municipality to house a youth office, the elderly, an event room and cultural recreation programs.
Promote tourist activity in the Lomas de Pacta A, B and C of Punta Hermosa to increase the number of visitors to the district. Prevent and reduce the risk of natural disasters with dissemination and awareness campaigns to clear waste produced by landslides. Implement a dog park as a recreational space.
