Deputy Mellado (RN) calls President Boric to visit La Araucanía: “We need a head of state”

After a new arson attack recorded this Friday night in Los Sauces, where a worker and his wife were intimidated with firearms to later set their home on fire, deputy Miguel Mellado (RN) condemned this fact and called on the Government .

Deputy Mellado summoned President Gabriel Boric to go to the area to talk with the victims and find out in situ what is happening in the Region of La Araucanía.

“What is more Dantesque than that (attack in Los Sauces)? I hope that President Boric does not continue to be offended by the words of former President Piñera and listens to him. He (Sebastián Piñera) came when the potatoes were burning, but you never He has come despite the fact that many houses have been burned. He has not come to find out firsthand what is happening in La Araucanía.”

Mellado reiterated his call to listen to the victims. “It’s super important, but your ears are covered. You need to understand that terrorism is rampant in the southern macrozone and not even the State of Exception is making a dent in these terrorists.”

Finally, the RN parliamentarian was critical when indicating that the President is a “coward for not coming to La Araucanía to talk with the victims. Meanwhile, they continue burning and shooting to assassinate innocent people. We need a head of state. As well as former president Piñera told him: govern and come to La Araucanía,” he said.
