A large fire has been recorded this Friday afternoon in a skyscraper in the city of Changsha, capital of Hunan province (China), as seen in a series of images broadcast by local media.

In a video published by the Global Times, it can be seen how the 42-storey building, belonging to the operator of china telecom telephony, burns intensely. The images also show how the flames generate a plume of smoke.

Another recording shows how the flames devour the building, while a third – taken from a closer angle – people are seen fleeing in terror while the sirens of fire trucks sound.
State media report that the flames have been extinguished, as seen in a photo shared on Twitter by Andy Boreham, a journalist for the Shanghai Daily. They also detail that, at the moment, no casualties have been reported.
