The reelection candidate highlighted that his government gave autonomy to the Central Bank and that currently more than 100 million people use this feature in the country.
“Many people lived informally, they had never had a bank account, so they started to use PIX and behave like micro-entrepreneurs. From the information we have, there are more than 1 billion financial transactions per month. PIX has collaborated in a lot for Brazil, in addition to moving the market, our economy, also transforming many people who lived in informality into small, into micro-entrepreneurs, it also reduced violence in our Brazil”, said the candidate.
Bolsonaro highlighted that the technology developed by the Central Bank is being copied by other countries. “It is a revolution in the Brazilian economy.
