Novo’s candidate for the Presidency of the Republic, Felipe D’Avila, has an agenda today (13) and tomorrow (14) in Paraná on a visit to representatives of commerce and industry from three cities. This Tuesday morning, D’Avila was in São José dos Pinhais, where he met with representatives of the Commercial and Industrial Association (Aciap).
“Brazil needs to open up its economy to become more competitive in the world again. All the countries that got rich, got rich by competing in international trade. And the best thing about Brazil, which is agribusiness, is the only sector of the economy that grows in this international trade”, said the presidential candidate.
The candidate added that his government plan foresees a gradual opening of the economy to allow reindustrialization “so that Brazilian industry has access to the best in technology, global value chains and international credit”.
In the early afternoon, D’Avila got to know the Recanto da Esperança project, in the Uberaba neighborhood of Curitiba. Working after school hours, the civil society organization invests in the training of children from 700 families in the Icaraí community, where there used to be a high rate of school dropout, in addition to records of child labor.
The candidate’s agenda also includes a visit to Gerar, a non-profit organization aimed at developing and implementing social and environmental sustainability projects, a walk on the sidewalk in Curitiba and the presentation of proposals for the government plan of the New to Freemasonry.
