If you are a tourist and want to give yourself the third dose in Uruguay, this is what you have to do

The first thing a tourist who wants to be vaccinated in Uruguay has to do is, prior to entering the country, have completed the Sworn Declaration where the date of the last vaccine received against covid-19 or the date of the positive result of covid is specified. -19. This is established by the guide that the Ministry of Public Health (MSP) published this Friday 31 specifying what are the steps and requirements to follow so that those who enter the country can take the third dose.

Also remember that in order to request a vaccination time it is necessary that 180 days have passed since the last dose of the vaccine or 30 days since the positive result, explains the statement.

If you meet both requirements, the tourist is entitled to get vaccinated 48 hours after entering the country. It must be scheduled on the web https://agenda.vacunacioncovid.gub.uy/ or by calling 0800 1919 (available Monday through Friday from 09:00 to 21:00).

Confirmation of the date and time of vaccination will arrive 72 hours after it has been scheduled, by SMS or email. The dates will be designated from 48 hours after they have been scheduled, according to the available places.

Tourists who meet the above requirements and have entered the country as of November 1, 2021 are eligible to sign up.

The MSP clarifies in its statement that the third doses are still available for the Uruguayan population, who have not received it, and the agenda for first doses of the entire population over 12 years of age continues to be available.
