Comptroller detected several irregularities in the Conajzar

The Comptroller General of the Republic (CGR) presented on August 31 a report and opinion on the budget execution of the year 2021 of public institutions. This report contained more than 500 control activities, as a result of which more than 90 reports of indications of punishable acts were detected.

One of the entities that received the most comments on its budget execution was the National Games of Chance Commission (Conajzar). In total, he received six observations related to the mismanagement of his finances. This situation led Conajzar to stop receiving considerable income to the detriment of the public treasury.

The fourth irregularity is that the Conajzar did not carry out timely controls and monitoring for the effective distribution, to charities and Fonaress, of the prizes not delivered because the winners corresponding to the fiscal years 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 had not been presented. to March 2021 for the total sum of G. 12 billion that were deposited only in 2021 by the companies Talisman SA and Daruma SAM SA This situation caused the National Fund for Solidarity Resources for Health and charitable entities, have not been able to count on the necessary resources to meet their objectives in a timely manner.
