PNP Colonel Harvey Colchado has been replaced as head of the Search Division (Divbus) of the General Intelligence Directorate (Digimin) by PNP Commander Mario Hidalgo Yen. This was confirmed by means of a letter sent to the Police Colonel.
In this sense, Colchado Huamaní will continue as coordinator of the Special Team of the PNP to support the Special Team of Prosecutors against Corruption of Power “exclusive dedication” and depending on Digimin.
The name of the new head of the Divbus began to be heard a week ago, when The Republic revealed that Commander Mario Hidalgo would integrate a new Search Directorate parallel to the one commanded by Colchado in order to divide the work and reduce the budget.
It should be noted that the head of the General Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of the Interior (Digimin), Colonel PNP (r) Juan Asmat Bucalo, and the Director of Intelligence of the same entity, General PNP (r) Ricardo Trujillo Cornejo, resigned their charges due to pressure to affect the work of the team coordinated by Colchado.
