This Monday, in the “360º” program, broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), the Minister of People’s Power for Transportation, Ramón Velásquez Araguayán, was invited as a guest, who invited the population to the “Expo Science, Technology and Industrial Fair Iran-Venezuela”, he also said that Iran, “a country that has suffered a blockade for more than forty years, has achieved such important development in the areas of scientific-technological knowledge, which demonstrates its capacity for technological independence.”
“What we are witnessing with this technological-scientific exchange between Venezuela and Iran is that the strategic vision of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, which began in 2001, with Commander Hugo Chávez Frías, is revealed,” said Araguayán. .
At that time, the Minister commented, that a memorandum of understanding was signed where the High-Level Joint Commission between Iran and Venezuela is created.
He also pointed out that with the recent visit to the Middle Eastern country by President Nicolás Maduro, the Comprehensive Cooperation Plan between Iran and Venezuela was signed on June 11, mainly in relation to the technological issue.
“The Iranian Government will bring to our country a percentage of its achievements in these areas of science and technology to be exposed to our people, businessmen, industrialists and scientists, so that they can appreciate the development that the Persian nation has achieved,” he said.
“In this fair we are going to see the scientific-technological explosion so that the family, the people in general, appreciate the advances of this nation from many points of view. This fair will be open to the public from Thursday the 15th to Sunday the 18th of September and from ten in the morning to eight at night”, he pointed out.
Also, the Minister of Communication, Freddy Ñáñez, through his Twitter account, announced that the Expo Fair of Science, Technology and Industries will take place between September 14 and 18.

This arose as part of the results obtained by the Head of State during his tour of Eurasia, in which he stated that Iran promised to transfer all its knowledge for the comprehensive development of these matters.
“The sector vice president of Economy, Tareck El Aissami, and the sector vice president of Science, Education, and Health, Gabriela Jiménez, join forces for us to design, start, and install in Venezuela, a technological industrial development park twinned with Iran immediately,” instructed the National President.
During his tour, President Maduro visited Turkey, Algeria, Iran, Kuwait, Qatar and Azerbaijan, countries with which he reached major agreements to boost the national economy and strengthen the country in different areas, such as oil, gas, food, tourism , Science and Technology.
