Monterey, NL. HSBC Mexico and Viva Aerobus presented in Monterrey HSBC ALIVEthe first co-branded credit card of this banking institution, designed to provide passengers with unique benefits and facilities so that flying is even more attractive, simple and within the reach of more people, with the support of HSBC and of master card.
In addition to the low rates offered by the airline, with this new credit card, HSBC VIVA is the only form of payment that permanently offers months without interest for the purchase of airline tickets with Viva Aerobus. To this is added another series of advantages such as priority access when boarding and access to the Mastercard lounges at the Mexico City International Airport (AICM).
Cardholders have additional benefits within the loyalty and rewards program Doters, recently launched by Viva Aerobus. By being a member of this program and using HSBC VIVA, depending on the purchases made, you have the possibility of obtaining between one and up to four free flights as a reward during the first year of using the card.
This is added to the welcome and anniversary Doters Points; as well as a greater accumulation of points in each purchase they make in Viva so that they can later exchange them for flights, additional services and many more products.
As of September 19, HSBC VIVA can be ordered through the Viva Aerobus and HSBC Mexico websites, as well as at bank branches.
Strategic alliance
“Trips represent 8% of the consumption that is made with credit cards in the country. Therefore, this alliance with Viva Aerobus is strategic, as it is the second largest airline in the domestic market in Mexico, with more than 15 million passengers in 2021”, said Jorge Arce, president and CEO of HSBC Mexico.
“By working as a team, we can add and support people’s interest in traveling and living new experiences, in a year in which both consumption with cards and air travel are being reactivated,” added Jorge Arce.
The card has two types: HSBC VIVA and HSBC VIVA PLUS, depending on the profile of each user. In the first case, travelers can also transport once a year, a checked bag of 15 kilograms free of charge; have Mastercard purchase protection insurance and obtain four accesses to the Mastercard Elite Lounge at the AICM.
With HSBC VIVA PLUS, customers have cabin baggage (10 kg) and checked baggage (15 kg) free of charge; free VIP seat selection; Platinum Mastercard insurance; 10 accesses to the Lounge Key per year and unlimited entry to the Mastercard Elite Lounge at the AICM.
“For 16 years, Viva Aerobus has revolutionized the way of flying thanks to its ultra-low-cost business model, making the possibility of traveling by plane available to more people.”
