President Alberto Fernández repudiated the vandalization of a monument to Néstor Kirchner located on route 7 in the city of Vedia, in the Buenos Aires party of Leandro Alem, who was apparently attacked with bullets.
“Less than 2 weeks after the attack on Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, this is how the monument to Néstor Kirchner located on Route 7 woke up today“Fernández said on Twitter, and accompanied the text with a photo of the attacked work.
“Let’s banish hatred in Argentina. With the strength of democracy and the courage of convictions, we say Never Again to violence in our country,” said the president.

Residents of Vedia, head of Leandro N. Alem’s party, in the northwest of the province of Buenos Aires, denounced that the monument to former President Kirchner, at the entrance to the town, on National Route 7, was vandalized.
The sculpture shows markings on the face that appear to be firearms shots.
Leandro Alem is governed by Mayor Carlos Ferraris, from the Frente de Todos.
