APP announces support for José Williams
Hours prior to the start of the plenary session, the Alliance for Progress (APP) announced its support for the candidacy of José Williams of Avanza País: “We announce our support for the candidate of the democratic bloc, Congressman Jose Williams.”

The candidates for this election are Jose Elijah (We can Peru-We are Peru), Louis Aragon (People’s Action), Guido Bellido (Free Peru), Carlos Zeballos (Integrity and Development), Joseph Balcazar (Peru Bicentennial) and Joseph Williams (Country advances).
The expectation remained until the submission deadline of the candidacies by the benches, since last Saturday the 10th only three nominations had been made official. The last political forces that registered their candidates were Avanza País and Perú Bicentenario, with Joseph Williams Y Jose Maria Balcazarrespectively.
What right-wing candidates we have José Williams, Luis Aragón and José Elías Ávalos. Meanwhile, Guido Bellido, Carlos Zeballos and José María Balcázar appear from the left and center benches.
As for the alliances, around Jose Elijah are the benches of Podemos Peru and Somos Peru, in a joint application. Meanwhile, Fuerza Popular and Alianza para el Progreso chose to announce their institutional support for Joseph Williams, of Advance Country. The support of Renovación Popular could also be added.
