Supporters of Arnold Alanes try to reactivate the operations of the parallel coca market in the Villa El Carmen area, in La Paz. Neighbors of that sector mobilize and reject the presence of the producers of the green leaf.

The leader said that the sale is spontaneous, because the residents move their taques (50-kilo bags) to the door and he anticipated that during this week they will organize themselves to see what happens.

“This morning (Monday) a lot of coca arrived and also buyers, who arrive from Santa CruzCochabamba and Bermejo, this situation is inevitable and today we are not meeting, we are not ruling out mobilizations”, said Alanes.
