Abdo: Petropar will not lower fuel until it is replenished with new stock, and tax proposal for truckers

“We are going to lower the price again, once we replace it, because we have the limitation of the law that prevents us,” Abdo replied in conversation with journalists.

He remarked that Petropar’s current stock represents fuel purchases at prices prior to the decrease in international costs.

“If we lower prices below what was paid, it would be embezzlement, so we need to replenish,” the president insisted.

He pointed out that to speed up the replenishment, fuel is even being sold to Bolivia, so that the release of Petropar deposits is accelerated.
