This Sunday, 35 new Covid-19 infections have been confirmed in the department of Santa Cruz, according to the report from the Departmental Health Service (Headquarters), which also confirms that 178 patients recovered and 341 people went to the vaccination points to receive their doses against the coronavirus.

The new infections were reported in Santa Cruz de la Sierra (34) and in La Guardia (1). The laboratories processed 633 tests and the positivity rate was 6%.

According to said report, 21 people are admitted to different hospitals in the department, of which 15 are attached to a mechanical respirator.

The health authorities recommend that the population not lower their guard and continue to apply biosecurity measures and go to the vaccination points to receive the corresponding doses against the coronavirus.
