The Executive Branch submitted to the Chamber of Deputies a CD with the addendum to the reformulation project of Law 345-21, of the General State Budget of 2022, declared the president of the body, Alfred Pacheco.
The document that changes the project that the general director of the Budget, José Rijo Presbot, introduced to the lower house, was now taken to the Legislative Secretariat.
Pacheco stated that the piece could be known in the plenary session next Tuesday.
He indicated that he hopes that the commission studying the reformulation of the project will be the one to evaluate it.

Pacheco maintained that he values the Executive’s attitude of taking into account the opinions, not only of the opposition parties, “but of many independents, who understood that the Budget should not be approved and reduce the 4% for Education”.
He understands that the obstacles so that “we can faithfully approve it” have disappeared.
It is expected that the addendum reflects what was agreed between the Government, parties and civil society organizations, not to touch the budget of the Ministry of Education, given the rejection of touching 4%.
