The Justicialista Party will render this Monday a tribute to the historic leader Antonio Cafiero in an act where his family, political leaders and different personalities of the country will be present, on the day he would have turned 100 years old.
The appointment will be at 18 at the ND Teatro, located in Paraguay 918, and the objective will be to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the birth of Cafiero, “one of the most emblematic and transcendent men of the national justicialist movement from its origins to the present day” who left “as a legacy his enormous commitment to democracy and social justice”points to the invitation to the event.
The Peronist leader held numerous positions throughout his career: Governor of the province of Buenos Aires; senator and national deputy; conventional constituent; chief of staff; Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade; and president of the PJ, among other elective and partisan roles.
Likewisewas the youngest minister in the cabinet of Juan Domingo Perón and, after the return of democracy, he became a central figure in the Peronist renewal.
Together with his relatives, fellow activists, leaders of Peronism and different political parties, the tribute ceremony will remember his life and his career.
