A 28-year-old man died of suffocation in an incident that occurred in Flor de Maroñas in which the Policeman still investigating.
In accordance with Telemundothe murder occurred on Friday when the victim, named Nicolás Guerra, left his job in his father’s mechanical workshop and drove to Flor de Maroñas to visit a friend.
The young man told his family that he would return in a few minutes but, after traveling to Eduardo Depaulli and Alfosno Lamas streets, he never returned. The family tried to communicate with Nicolás, but they lost all contact with him, so they went to the police to report his absence.
Police officers were able to track the victim’s car as it was equipped with gps. The officials located the vehicle on Boulevard Batlle y Ordóñez and Francisco Goyen, the place where they moved.
Upon arrival, the Police found two young people inside the car, one of them was the friend that Nicolás went to visit at the time of his disappearance.
With the arrest of these two individuals, the Police also had access to a search warrant for the home of the victim’s friend. Once in the building, the agents found the body of Guerra, who was found to have died of suffocation.
A third person was also arrested at the scene, who is the father of one of the young people who was inside the stolen vehicle. In addition, it was found that the alleged murderers also stole money from the victim.
In charge of the investigation of the case is the prosecutor Rodrigo Morosoli, who is expected to formalize the investigation in the next few hours.
