More than 50 international buyers signed business agreements with 100 Dominican exporters for some US$126 million in the fifth edition of the Hub Chamber of Santo Domingo 2022.

The products with business intentions are avocado, cocoa, coral stone, mango, plastic, detergents, rum, sugar, juices, canned goods and fruit pulp, among others, by buyers of Puerto Rico, Argentina, Spain, Mexico, USABonaire, Nicaragua, Mexico and Costa Rica.

Biviana Riveiro, executive director of ProDominicansaid that “the registration of these business intentions allows us, from ProDominicana, to provide personalized assistance and close monitoring to achieve their materialization and that this has an impact on our exports,”
Manuel Luna Sued, president of the Chamber of Commerce and Production of Santo Domingo, said that the business projection of the national business rounds reached US$7 million, surpassing the 5 million in the last edition. He said that the numbers registered, both in the national and international rounds. They speak of the interest of the business sector in expanding.
