Two dead and several injured were left by the explosion of a fragmentary grenade in the Francisco de Miranda sector, Miguel Peña parish, Valencia municipality, Carabobo state.
The event was recorded this Saturday, when a group of alleged criminals celebrated the freedom of Lisandro Javier Herrera, alias “El Javielito”, who was held in the Tocuyito prison for the crimes of robbery, drug distribution, personal injury and homicide.
The deceased were identified as “El Javielito”, 31 years old, and Javier Verenzuela, 29 years old, while those injured by the splinters of the grenade, respond to the names of Reimón Rodríguez, 32 years old; Wilker Salcedo, 18 years old, and a minor, 9 years old.
According to the police version, the subjects were playing “la papa se que que que” in the middle of the street in sector 3, near a red Festiva vehicle.
The bodies were transferred to the morgue in Valencia and the injured are being held in the Ciudad Hospitalaria Dr. Enrique Tejera.
