The waste collection, sweeping and cleaning operations, in general, will be normalized from 6:00 p.m. on January 1.
The municipal cleaning company announced the hours in which it will work during the New Years holiday. The entity pointed out that the services of home garbage collection, street sweeping and cleaning of public spaces will be suspended between 6:00 p.m. on December 31, 2021 and 3:00 a.m. on January 1, 2022.
According to the company’s statement, the decision is made (as it happens every year) in light of the possibility of circulation difficulties in the city and its parishes due to the celebration of the End of the year. This despite the fact that on this occasion massive festive events are prohibited as well as the presence of ‘widows’ and the burning of old years in the streets.
Starting at 03:00 on the first day of 2022, the company will carry out a special operation to collect the waste that produce the festivities. The operations of the institution will normalize from 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 1. (LAG)
