This Friday, September 9, the inauguration of Expo Prado 2022 took place under the official name “117th International Exhibition of Livestock, Agroindustrial and Commercial Exhibition”, organized by the Rural Association of Uruguay (ARU).
This is the first edition of this important event after two editions developed in the context of the coronavirus pandemic. After these two years, an event will be held without health restrictions for visitors.
During this event there will be an exhibition of animals that will include breeds of cattle, sheep and horses. Likewise, and to a lesser extent, goats, pigs, birds and rabbits will be presented. In total, more than 2,200 animals of around 60 breeds will participate in qualifications, auctions and tests.
Likewise, there will be business premises and pavilions from different countries. The agenda also includes shows, talks and conferences, as well as the presentation of tools used for agricultural activity.
The Expo Prado will be held until Sunday, September 18, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day. Ticket prices are 300 pesos online from Monday to Friday and 350 on Saturdays and Sundays. On the other hand, the value of tickets at the Rural del Prado box office will be 350 from Monday to Friday and 400 on weekends; those under 10 years of age can enter for free any day and those over 65 have access to the entrance for 230 pesos if they go from Monday to Friday.
