The Traffic and Land Transport Authority (ATTT), informs that due to road safety, mobility and in accordance with the hours that massive movements of vehicles are foreseen for end-of-year holidays, permits are restricted for transfers of oversized cargo at the level national, from Friday, December 31, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. to Monday, January 3, 2022 at 6:00 a.m.

It should be noted that only those cargo vehicles that do not exceed the following measurements will be able to transit: 2.50 meters wide, 20 meters long and 4.15 meters high. It is reiterated that the rest of the cargo vehicles such as dump trucks, tanks, and vans will be able to circulate regularly and without further restriction.

However, for those drivers who are caught violating the regulations, their vehicles will be removed from the roads and penalized with violation No. 25 of the Traffic Regulations, which states the following: “Transporting loads without prior permission of circulation or with the expired permit “, which grants 5 points to the license and 500 balboas of fine.

Drivers are reiterated to respect and follow the directions given by Traffic Police personnel and ATTT Inspectors.
