At the request of deputy Edwin Reimer (ANR-Boquerón), the Chamber of Deputies approved, in the space of Sobre Tablas, the draft resolution “Requesting a report from the National Institute of Cooperativism”. The document requests details on the number of cooperatives with inspection processes and/or current interventions.
It also requires the submission of all the resolutions issued by the Board of Directors of the National Institute of Cooperativism (Incoop), by which the intervention was ordered, as well as copies of the final inspection report.
On the other hand, it also requests copies of the minutes of the Board of Directors where the final reports are studied; a copy of the action plan or other document indicating the follow-up carried out by INCOOP to the supervised institutions.
It is in the interest of Deputy Reimer to also know the total cost of the inspections, the cost assumed with INCOOP’s own resources, and what was paid by the intervened cooperatives. Another point requires detailed data from the report of the consulting offices and the professionals hired for each case, with the specification of the area for which they were hired and the salary agreed for that purpose.
In particular, additional reports were requested from the cooperatives: San Cristóbal, Medalla Milagrosa, and the Cooperative of Officials of the Medalla Milagrosa Cooperative (FUNCOP). The rule was approved unanimously and a period of 15 days is established for the submission of all the requested documents.
