Masistas unearth letter against the Minister of Government, whom they ask to audit

The national leadership of the MAS decided to dig up a letter drawn up in June this year in it they question the role of the Government Minister, Carlos Eduardo Del Castillo, and ask that this State portfolio be audited, especially in the communication issue and the preparation of a campaign against this party.

“We alert your authority of these activities and ask that an investigation process be initiated. and an external and independent audit is instructed, both financial and IT, of what is happening within that institution and of the agencies in charge of these issues, with the aim of making the management and use of public resources transparent,” the letter states. which was sent to President Luis Arce in June of this year and bears the signature of seven leaders of the national leadership.

Between April, May and June of this year there was a strong confrontation between former President Evo Morales and the Minister of Government, whose dismissal he publicly requested. It was in those months that Morales presented the audios that involved police officers in alleged drug smuggling and said that there was a campaign against him, orchestrated from the government office.

This Thursday the letter came to light after the former president granted an interview to Pan American radio in which he attacked the “digital warriors” and personnel from the Vice Ministry of Communication to those he pointed out as the architects of this smear campaign; although he did not mention names of those responsible.

So, The internal confrontation that the former president unleashed has already lasted five months and so far it has not been resolved, it has simply been deepened with more accusations. It should be remembered that at that time Morales already said that there was corruption in the Ministry of Public Works. At that time he said that he handed over documents with his complaints to President Luis Arce himself and that he did nothing.

The letter that the MAS unearthed this Thursday only refers to the actions that officials from the Ministry of Government and He does not mention his fellow party members, whom he accused this Thursday.
