1. Louis XIV of France
Louis the Great or the Sun King, as he was also known, surpassed the Queen of England for being on the throne for 72 years and 110 days. The surprise is that Luis died at the age of 76, meaning that he assumed the throne at the age of 4 years on May 14, 1643.
He went down in history as a great protector of the arts and moved the court from Paris to Versailles. Although the many wars he championed made France great, they also caused famine and increased taxes, placing a heavy economic burden.
2. Elizabeth II of England

This monarch was on the throne for 70 years and 126 days, from June 9, 1947 to October 13, 2016.
At first his destiny was not to be king, because he was the second of the sons. However, the sudden death of his older brother meant that he had to assume the throne immediately. He was the ninth king of the Chakri dynasty and one of the richest monarchs in the world.

4. Prince Johann II of Liechtenstein
At the age of 18, Johann took the throne from November 12, 1858 to February 11, 1929 and celebrated 70 years of reign, until his death in 1929.
5. K’inich Janaab Pakal of Palenque
Janaab was another of the youngest monarchs. At the age of 12 he came to the crown and ruled from July 26, 615 until his death on August 31, 683, which meant a reign of 68 years and 33 days.
He was king of ajawlel or Mayan lordship of B’aakal, now known as the archaeological zone of Palenque, located in the north of the Mexican state of Chiapas.
Until 1952, the Mexican archaeologist Alberto Ruz Lhuillier announced the discovery of Pakal’s tomb, where his sarcophagus was also found.
