The cases of COVID-19 fell this Wednesday to 18 in Cuba, according to the part published today by the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP). 28 people received medical discharge.
Only seven provinces reported infections and among those that were free of new patients are Havana, Santiago de Cuba and the Isla de la Juventud Special Municipality.

In total, 224 people remained hospitalized due to this pandemic; Of these, 105 were suspected of contracting the disease and 119 were confirmed active. In intensive care rooms two people were reported in serious condition.
The laboratories processed 1,903 samples and, of the positive ones, 13 correspond to contacts of confirmed cases, while four included the patients in whom the cause of the infection was not specified. One was an imported case.
By age ranges, 13 included those under 20 years of age, two corresponded to the range between 20 and 39 years, one to 40 to 59 years and two were over 60.
The fatalities of COVID-19 remain at 8,530 and the lethality at 0.77%.
