The driver of a truck was injured this morning when he overturned on the Buenos Aires-La Plata highway, near the Buenos Aires town of Sarandí, and the load of bricks he was transporting was scattered on the asphalt, for which there are delays in the transit of up to 5 kilometers, informed sources from Aubasa.
The incident occurred shortly after 7 am, at kilometer 13 of the Buenos Aires-La Plata highway towards the City of Buenos Aires.
The driver of the heavy vehicle that transported bricks, for reasons that are being investigated, performed an unforeseen maneuver after having a previous incident with a utility vehicle and overturned on the left lane, also affecting two central lanes in the direction of the City of Buenos Aires.
In addition, the left lane, towards La Plata, was obstructed since part of the load of bricks fell on the reduced lanes.
As a result of the incident, the truck driver suffered injuries and was assisted by the highway emergency service.
The Aubasa road safety personnel channeled the traffic that goes to the Federal Capital through the shoulder sector, which generated delays of more than 5 kilometers, while towards La Plata at the moment there were no delays.
