Guillermo Bonilla becomes Digimin's new head of Intelligence

The retired colonel will assume from this Thursday, September 8, the head of the Intelligence Office of the General Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of the Interior. This is confirmed by a confidential document to which Peru21 had access.

Bonilla is remembered in the Police for his participation -from the Special Intelligence Group (GEIN)- in the capture of the late terrorist leader Abimael Guzmán and in the dismantling of the Shining Path leadership

Official letter that designates Bonilla as the new intelligence boss of the Ministry of the Interior.

During 2021 he served as head of the II Lambayeque Police Macro Region.
