Salvatore Ferragamo presented its future-oriented Resort 2022 collection, which highlights craftsmanship and technological processes to create the result of contemporary and versatile pieces that take center stage for the season.
On this occasion, the brand collaborated with the Parisian artist Julien Colombier, who created a “Ready To Wear” collection made up of different pieces, from dresses, pants, bags and t-shirts with the colors blue and orange. Also, he used the union of classic prints and tones with modernism, considered the most characteristic of the collection.
“Julien Colombier is a Parisian artist, whose work is mainly done with acrylics and oil pastels and his supports range from canvas to paper through murals, wood and installations,” explained representatives of the brand.
They also indicated that Colombier receives a strong influence from the world of graffiti, Japanese art, Matisse and Keith Haring, with which his work is described as a dreamlike, magical and disturbing artistic world at the same time. In addition, he obsessively repeats geometric and vegetal patterns and creates a hypnotic environment for the viewer.
